Idrettsrådet skal arbeide for best moglege vilkår for idretten i Ulvik
herad. Idrettsrådet skal vere ein arena for samarbeid mellom laga,
mellom laga og dei kommunale styresmakter og mellom laga og
idrettskrinsen. Arbeidet skal pregast av frivillig innsats, demokrati,
lojalitet og likeverd. All idrettsleg aktivitet skal byggje på
grunnverdiar som idrettsglede, fellesskap, helse og ærlegdom.
