Dokumentasjon og formidling av historiene til de første shadowsbanda i
Ålesund tidlig på 60 tallet. Det gjelder primært historiene til
shadowsbanda The Penguins, The Climbers, The Quinters og The
Blackjets, men også The Noisemakers/Hustlers, The Shawnees og The
Problems. Interesseforeningen skal jobbe for å fremme kunnskap om
og dokumentere historiene til de syv pop-bandene som var aktive i den
perioden. I tillegg samle inn stoff og dokumentere bl.a. i form av
foredrag, skriftlige publikasjoner etc.
