Å forvalte utmarksressursene innafor lagets område. Laget skal i sitt
arbeid sørge for: en langsiktig ressursforvaltning, å tilgodese
medlemmenes interesser i utmark, å tilgodese den øvrige befolkningens
rekreative interesser herunder i henhold til lovgivningens
bestemmelser, forvalte fauna og jaktmuligheter (storvilt og småvilt ),
forvalte innlandsfiske, vassdrag utenom Alsvågvassdraget, utarbeide og
vedta utmarksplan, bedre utnyttelsen av området i jordbrukssammenheng
(beitebruk, skogforvaltning m.v.) Laget vil også være uttalepart i
offentlige plansaker (reguleringsplaner/arealplaner) som berører
lagets område.
Forvalte fauna og jaktmuligheter (storvilt og småvilt). Utarbeide og
vedta utmarksplan. Tilgodese medlemmenes interesser i utmark.
