Operating
Stiftelsens formål er å drive PoMo museum for samtidskunst og moderne
kunst i Postgården, Trondheim, med sikte på utstilling og forvaltning
av slik kunst samt gjennomføring av aktiviteter egnet til å fremme
museumsdriften eller relaterte formål, til beste for allmennheten.
Stiftelsens samling skal i hovedsak bestå av kunstverk innlånt fra
tredjemann, men kan også inneholde verk mottatt som gave eller
testasjon, eller ervervet på annen måte. Samlingen skal ta sikte på å
speile ulike kunstarter, opprinnelsesland, tidsepoker og
samfunnsforhold, og samlingens innhold kan til enhver tid endres ved
at verk inntas i eller skilles ut fra samlingen. Stiftelsen er en
alminnelig stiftelse.
