Operating
Coop Norge skal bygge på samvirkelagenes aktive eierskap og tjene som
en interesseorganisasjon for disse, samt ivareta fellesoppgaver for å
trygge og skape verdier og medvirke til at lagene drives og utvikles
til det beste for medlemmene. Coop Norge skal gjennom samhandling med
samvirkelagene sikre at disse forsynes med gode og hensiktsmessige
varer og tjenester til konkurransedyktig pris og kvalitet til
medlemmenes fordel. Ved sin innflytelse i valgte organer i Coop Norge
skal samvirkelagene ivareta sine medlemmers interesser som forbrukere.
1. Å forsyne samvirkelagene med gode og hensikts-
messige varer og tjenester til konkurransedyktige
priser til beste for samvirkelagenes medlemmer og
til fremme av deres interesser som forbrukere.
2. NKL skal drive sin virksomhet i nært og åpent
samarbeid med samvirkelagene for å styrke
forbrukersamvirket og felesskapet i alle ledd. NKL
skal innrette virksomheten på en effektiv og
rasjonell måte til beste for samvirkelagene og
deres medlemmer. Den enkelte virksomhet skal
drives slik at alle kostnader ved driften blir
dekket og at det oppstår overskudd tilstrekkelig
til å styrke NKLs egenkapital og gi tilbake-
betaling til samvirkelagene.
3. NKL skl arbeide for forståelse av sparingens
betydning, påse av lagene plasserer sine ledige
midler i samsvar med egne vedtekter, motta og
forvalte lagenes låneinnskudd og samordne lagenes
investeringer, kapitalanvendelse og kapitalopplegg
for derved å sikre at forbrukersamvirket er
økonomisk uavhengig.
4. NKL skal tjene som en interesseorganisasjon for
samvirkelagene, der disse gjennom sin innflytelse
i de valgte organer kan søke å ivareta sine
medlemmers interesser som forbrukere, i sin
alminnelighet.
