Skape interesse for de særnorske hesterasene og sørge for
rekruttering. I tillegg skal det gjennomføres et arrangement på
Domkirkeodden annen hvert år (oddetalls-år) hvor hesterasene vises
fram for publikum. Hestens dag på Domkirkeodden har også i oppgave å
bidra med økonomiske midler til utdanning for talentfull ungdom under
30 år.
