Operating
Korets formål er å synge variert korsang for alle samfunnslag,
fortrinnsvis inndelt i fire stemmer. Mannskoret Vestergabet skal bidra
til at mannskorsang i Norge blir fremmet slik at den er til hygge og
nytte for medlemmene og for publikum. Koret skal fremstå som en viktig
kulturell bidragsyter i lokalsamfunnet og gjennom tekster og toner
formidle korets kristne forankring.
