Foreningens formål er å drive rådgivning for fedre samt nettsiden
www.krisesenter.org FMO skal videre arbeide generellt for barnets
beste og barns rett til likeverdig omsorg fra begge foreldre, ved å
påvirke samfunnsdebatt i media, forskning og lovgivning. Videre skal
FMO søke og bidra til å heve kompetanse og kunnskap om slike spørsmål
i domstoler, hos myndigheter, politi og annen offentlig forvaltning.
