Ideell interesseorganisasjon for de aktive eierfondene innenfor
såkorn, venture og oppkjøp. Bransjen omfatter aktører som utøver
aktivt eierskap gjennom langsiktig, målrettet investeringsvirksomhet i
oppstartsvirksomheter, bedrifter i en tidlig fase/vekstfase eller i
virksomheter som skal restruktureres. Skape økt forståelse for de
aktive eierfondenes betydning for nyskapning og fremtidig vekst hos de
politiske myndigheter, hos investorer som ønsker profesjonell
oppfølging, og i samfunnet for øvrig. Være et slagkraftig fellesorgan
som samordner næringens påvirkning av rammevilkår samt koordinere
felles kompetanseheving og utvikling. Bygge nettverk mellom aktive
eierfond i Norge og i utlandet, samt skape et velfungerende samarbeid
med miljøer som har behov for næringens kompetanse. Styrke
kapitaltilgangen til aktive eierfond.
Norsk Venture Kapitalforening er en ideel interesseorganisasjon for
den norske venture kapitalbransjen.
