Moskeen vil være en kulturspreder, samtidig fungerer som kjernen i et
samlet og sosialt lokal fellesskap for muslimer på Dokka og omegn. De
fem tidebønnene skal utføres i fellesskap, og blir et fundament for
moskeens virksomhet. Dette i tillegg til feiring av de islamske
høytider, informasjonsarbeid, og være en lokal dialogpartner.
