Tveita borettslag er ett av Norges største borettslag med 819 andelsleiligheter fordelt på tre blokker med 13 etasjer i hver blokk. Borettslaget sto ferdig 1969. Første innflytting skjedde i 1967. Tomten, kjøpt i 1986, er på 34 959 m2.
Borettslaget er et samvirkeforetak som har til formål å gi andelseierne bruksrett til egen bolig i foretakets eiendom (borett), og å drive virksomhet som står i sammenheng til dette. Borettslaget leier ut tre næringslokaler til en barnehage og to helseforetak.
Tveita borettslag har eget Driftskontor med fem ansatte; daglig leder, drifts- og prosjektsekretær og tre teknisk personell.
