Bergen Big Band (BBB) er et profesjonelt ensemble med
storbandbesetning, med formål å framføre musikk innenfor jazzbegrepet
og tilgrensende uttrykk på internajsonalt nivå. BBB skal være et
jazzmusikalsk flaggskip for Vestlandet med hovedbase og
hovedrekrutteringsområde Bergen og omegn. BBB skal være en pådriver i
forhold til å få komponert, arrangert og framført ny musikk for stort
ensemble, og å få dokumentert musikken på fonogram.
Komponering, arrangering, innøving, innspilling og konsertframføring
av musikk.
