Skal være et samlende kraftsenter for veteranbåter i Bergen og
regionen rundt. BNV skal arbeide for god tilrettelegging for
veteranfartøy gjennom å tilby havneplasser og fagkompetanse. Selskapet
skal være lokalt forankret i det sentrale havneområdet i Bergen, med
regional betydning for Vestland fylke. BNV skal også påta seg
nasjonale oppgaver innen feltet. Selskapets formål er ideelt og
kulturelt og har ikke til hensikt å skaffe aksjeeierne økonomisk
utbytte.
