Foreininga har til formål å flytte den gamle røykestova «Håkastova»
frå tidlegare Os kommune til Koløyhavn i Tysnes kommune, og byggje den
opp att mest mogleg originalt. «Håkastova» skal leggjast til rette
slik at den kjem ålmenta til nytte, med det mål om å fremja stova si
eiga historie saman med historia knytt til Bjørnafjord-områda frå då
stova vart sett opp og tilbake til norrøn tid.
