Restaurant -og servicebransjen har lenge slitt med rekruttering. Samtidig hevdes det at pandemien med tilhørende permitteringer har gjort det enda vanskeligere både å drive og finne kvalifisert arbeidskraft.Regjeringen har dessuten slått fast at innen 2030 skal Norge skal bli en Mat-nasjon. For å lykkes med målet, har de stadfestet at vi som nasjon må sikre langsiktig rekruttering til matindustrien, institusjoner, restauranter og reiselivet som bransje.
