Formålet med foreningen er å drive festivalen Cellolyd i Lofoten.
Festivalen skal formidle ulike kunstneriske uttrykk hvor celloen som
instrument har en vesentlig rolle. Festivalen har som mål å øke
interessen for klassisk og eksperimentell musikk, sette denne i
sammenheng med andre sjangre, og videre bidra til et bredt og
nyskapende konserttilbud i Lofoten.
