Organisasjonen har som visjon og mål å gi håp til barn og unge i
Etiopia som har mistet livsgrunnlaget sitt. Dette gjelder blant annet
foreldreløse barn på grunn av HIV/AIDS og gatebarn. NBH skal jobbe med
prosjekter i tett samarbeid med lokale myndigheter. NBH skal sørge for
assistanse uavhengig av politiske og religiøse grunner. NBH skal også
bestrebe like muligheter for jenter og gutter.
