Organisasjonens formål er å styrke forholdet mellom Georgia og Norge.
GeoNor skal ha følgende mål: Etablere kulturelle og utdannings-
relaterte forhold mellom Georgia og Norge. Støtte utviklingen av en
demokratisk samfunnsutvikling i Georgia. Organisasjonens aktiviteter
skal være fokusert på utdanning, helse, kultur og menneskerettigheter.
GeoNor er en ikke-kommersiell organisasjon og er politisk og religiøs
nøytral. Organisasjonen hovedprinsipper er basert på menneskeverd,
likestilling og omsorg.
