Diabetesforbundet er en partipolitisk og religiøst uavhengig
innteresseorganisasjon som har til formål å organisere alle som vil
fremme diabetikernes sak. Forbundet skal gjennom sosialpolitisk arbeid
og ved opplæring, informasjon, rådgivning og støtte til forskning,
søke å bedre de medisinske, sosiale og økonomiske vilkår for personer
med diabetes.
