NNI er et konsulentselskap innen etablert i Bergen. Vi har lang erfaring fra forskning og utredning, der vi har løst mange ulike oppgaver og prosjekter over flere 10-år. NNI utreder naturverdier og konsekvenser for natur og miljø knyttet til ulike utbyggingstiltak, eks. vegprosjekter, vassdragsutbygginger, industriutbygging, vindmølleparker, massetak, boligutbygging, idrettsanlegg, golfanlegg m.m. Et overordnet mål i norsk naturforvaltning - vedtatt av vårt Storting - er hensynstagen till biomangfold og naturressurser ved gjennomføring av nye utbygginger. Plan - og bygningsloven (PBL) setter klare rammer for slike hensyn, dvs hvordan konsekvenser skal utredes og i hvilket omfang dette skal foregå. Konsekvensutredninger (KU) er derfor blitt
