Norsk interesseforening for genetiske veiledere har som hovedoppgave å
fremme genetiske veilederes utdanningsmuligheter, faglige utvikling og
øke kunnskapen om genetiske veilederes arbeidsfelt blant
helsepersonell, pasientgrupper og andre grupper hvor informasjon om
genetisk veiledning er viktig. Foreningen har også som formål å bedre
yrkesmessige og økonomiske interesser for sine medlemmer.
