I drift
Internasjonalt fag- og formidlingssenter for reindriften skal innhente
informasjon og skaffe oversikt over relevant kunnskap om
tamreindriften, formidle informasjon, dokumentasjon og forhold som har
betydning for reindriftens vilkår, kultur og økologi, herunder
forskningsresultater og tradisjonell kunnskap fra reindriften.
Senteret er faglig selvstendig institusjon.
