Selskapet leverer etter reglene om egenregi jf. anskaffelsesforskriften § 3-2 sekretariatstjenestene til kontrollutvalgene i deltakerkommunene, i tråd med gjeldende lov og forskrifter. Rogaland Kontrollutvalgssekretariat IKS kan utføre tilsvarende oppgaver for andre kommuner/fylkeskommuner når dette ikke er i konflikt med kravene til egenregi for selskapet.

Sekretariat for deltakerkommunenes kontrollutvalg. Lovpålagt iht. kommuneloven. Offentlig virksomhet.
