Borettslaget Pilestredet 47 er sentralt beliggende i Homansbyen med nærhet til alt Oslo har å by på, med Oslo Met (tidligere Frydenlund bryggeri) på motsatt side av gaten. Hegdehaugsveien og Bogstadveien er like ved oss, det samme er Bislett, Slottsparken og Radisson Blu Scandinavia. Trikk er tilgjengelig i umiddelbar nærhet og flybuss retning Gardermoen stopper på Frydenlund, rett utenfor oss. Borettslaget ble innflyttet i 1989, og har adressene Pilestredet 47A, 47B og 47C. Totalt har borettslaget 54 leiligheter, og 32 parkeringsplasser i garasjeanlegg. I tillegg er det tre næringsseksjoner i gården, som alle er eid av ett selskap. Balkongene på baksiden vender ut mot en rolig bakgård, hvor det bl.a. er en lekeplass tilhørende nærliggend
